We are looking to start a site very similar in nature to alltop but
specifically for weddings. we are looking to do the following
Have a home page, where we can have editors picks, say 5 links that we hand select from
our various feeds. ideally it would have the title, a pic, and a short description. also
we would like the option to no follow the link as well as open in a frame so we can keep
visitors on our site.
then we would like to have links to sub pages, say [url removed, login to view],
[url removed, login to view] etc. where we will set up feeds just like alltop with say the most 5
recent from each provider, there will be an unlimited amount of feeds say three wide and
the last part would be the [url removed, login to view] where the user can log in and create their own
page selecting which feeds they want to follow on their custom page just like alltop.
the idea is alltop but prettier, as we are trying to attract brides which I dont' think
alltop does, very functional, but not bride like. looking for a clean site since there will be so much information, but have some design to it so it doesn't just look like a page with a ton of links.
also looking for some social media integration so things are easy to share via twitter and facebook
