Background Image Cropping Tool (online)

My approach to your project is to create a simple python script. In the script, you would load the image on one side, and the program will make a basic guess as to what the background is on the other side. This would be done by examining the border pixels in the picture and removing any color that is both connected and is the same as the border pixels. You would then have the option of clicking on different areas of the photo, and the program will simply include / exclude the pixel from the background. More importantly, it would then update its methodology and redo the border while making sure to keep / remove that pixel. Finally, on another side you would see the final product, and be able to change color of the background or have no background at all. Important issues in terms of complexity of the project and removing as much complexity as possible to reduce cost are if you need lines / areas to include or exclude instead of individual pixels and what file formats you want to be able to load and save. Bit maps would be simple to work with, and you should be able to use any other converter you can find to change those to what you would like, but adding different formats may increase the complexity dramatically.
