Our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is based on SQL (Microsoft SQL server).
Many of our records have a link to a profile that’s stored somewhere else on the internet and provides additional information about the person.
- This information needs to be ‘grabbed’ and copied/pasted into another section of our ATS. This can either be an existing section or a new section (whichever is easier) but it needs to be keyword-searchable through an existing function (the existing function allows to keyword-search the content of specific fields/’tabs’).
- We’ll need this program repeatedly as we will continuously add additional records on which we need to run this program. The criteria for that should be an option of:
a.) Search (‘grab’) all links that do not have that information copied/pasted yet (e.g. a list has to be created which stores all those records and the program will then be limited to grab/copy/paste information for/to these records only).
b.) Data gets outdated. We want to redo this process after e.g. 2-3 years, so an option should be created that allows us to enter a certain date and this process should be redone for all records prior (‘older’) to that date.
