Job Description:
We need to produce an in house reporting program that can receive data from multiple sources and output various different configurable reports based on data inputted via an automatic process. A candidate will need to be proficient in data manipulation and comfortable working with various file and data types.
Ideally the program will need a GUI than enables it to be used by non-technical staff members, so the candidate must have some experience with front end development. Also it would be beneficial if the program is as automated as possible, being able to schedule and save report templates would drastically improve usability.
Technical:
As we're looking to support this application in house in the future, we would like the system written to be written to specifications and in a language that can be covered.
• Program written in Python
• Only native and pip available packages should be used for the program development.
• Program should have a graphic interface or allow a Tkinter GUI connection with minimal code modification.
• Program should be well commented and documented (if needed)
• Program should be able to import known different report sources:
We would prefer a candidate that can come into the office (Stockport - SK7) if possible, as we have an in house developer and a technical project manager that will assist with specification and documentation.
