I am an Australian business analyst with 15 years building automated reporting and tracking solutions using Excel and VBA - including stocktaking solutions. I was wondering what you think about converting the output on inventory taken to a pivot table which counts the data on the 'scans with datetime stamp' page (the scans with datetime stamp page would obviously be populated by the individual scan) which is refreshed each time an item is scanned? I would also suggest adding a 'last item scanned' section so the user can easily see (and depending on your preference edit, in case of accidental double scanning) this information in case they lose their place / aren't sure something went through. Also I'm assuming the barcode scanner also sends an enter character with each scan - is that correct? I would love the opportunity to chat with you further about your project!
