We require a web scraper that can be run from a standard windows desktop computer without external file requirements. We require a windows based web scraper, that can scrape a set of data including pictures from a selection of uniform webpages. We wish to use this scraper to allow customers to run a one time scrape of their data from a 3rd party site, download as a csv file, and save the pictures to an image folder on the client computer. We will then need the csv file and photo folder to be automatically ftp'd to our server. The 3rd party site does actively prevent standard web based scraping scripts. Please message for a more detailed explanation of the page format to be scraped and the information being gathered.

Hello. I create custom scrapers running on windows, using vb.net. I will create an application as you like for your customers and they will be able to run it anytime to get the data. I will need the site to write the code for it. After the scraping is finished the files will be uploaded to the ftp. You can run the scraper manually or even add it to windows task scheduler so it can work automatically. Regards, Marina Louki

Hi I can suggest you to use python, but no external dependencies is a little unclear. If you want to use pure win32 it is still doable but will be different budget. - About downloading a csv. Do you want to make this script somewhere in the cloud and after getting all the data and making the csv, be available for download or this should be working self sustained on a windows machine? - Uploading to your server is not a problem. - Depending on the level of complexity of their defense I can supply different solutions but would like to see what exactly do they use. You can use headless browser technology to bypass most of their defense. You can contact me personally if you need free expert consultation.
