Should the app run only from local machine, or also from shared folder? Do you want all settings controlled only by JSON, or some fixed inside code? For user restrictions, should changes apply to all users or only current login? I went through your document carefully, especially the feature list and JSON control idea. Hi, this is Ambar Shome, I work independently but also run Shome & Associates for larger projects. I’ve done similar Windows control / policy tools in C# before. Workgroup systems need registry + local policy + security commands together, not only one method. No problem, this can be done. Console app will read JSON once, loop features, and call handler for each setting. Better to keep one class per feature type, otherwise hard to maintain later. I would keep JSON validation first, then apply changes, then write log file. Log should include feature, action, result, error text. App should check admin rights at start, otherwise stop. State check before change so running again will not break anything. Some controls like USB / task manager / start menu need different registry paths, so mapping table needed. Password / lockout settings should use secedit, not registry. Also better to keep backup of changed values. One thing to confirm: Should the JSON path be fixed, or passed as argument when running? Yes/No.
