C# & WPF-Based Offline Windows Desktop Application

We are looking for a developer who can design and develop a complete Windows desktop application using C# (.NET) and WPF. The developer will be responsible for building the core application logic, implementing rule-based evaluation, handling offline data and configuration, and ensuring the software runs reliably on Windows systems without any internet dependency. The application must: Work 100% offline Be developed as a Windows desktop application (not web or mobile) Use C# and WPF as the primary technology stack Load and manage data from the local file system Implement structured business logic and result calculations Be packaged with a professional installer (MSI) The developer is expected to: Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code Implement application logic based on provided rules Handle edge cases and ensure accurate output Test the application for stability on Windows systems Coordinate on milestones and provide periodic progress updates The UI will be simple and functional; priority is on logic correctness, performance, and reliability, not heavy animations or design work. This is a project-based role with an estimated timeline of approximately 3 months. Detailed functional requirements will be shared after initial discussion and NDA.
