Spring Boot REST API Build

I’m spinning up a Java 21/ Spring Boot backend and need a capable pair of hands to get the core REST layer in place while walking me through the logic so I can learn as we go. The immediate priority is clean, well-structured REST API creation. I need endpoints for standard CRUD (GET, POST, DELETE) that persist to postgres, and I’d like them written the “Spring way” with proper service, repository and DTO layers. Beyond the basics, the service must also handle batch workloads and expose certain operations through AWS Lambda. File uploads will live in S3, so the API should integrate with the AWS SDK, and everything should be protected with authentication/authorization (Spring Security or similar). • REST endpoints: GET, POST, DELETE plus batch routes and Lambda-triggered handlers • Security configured (token-based preferred) • S3 integration for file storage • Clear inline comments and an end-of-task walkthrough so I understand the design choices If you’re comfortable pairing via screen share for occasional explanations and can keep the code idiomatic, let’s get started.
