MSSQL2005 stored proc needs update to work on MSSQL2008

Job Description:
Have stored procedure that populates data from MSSQL 2005 database to Crystal Report with output to EXCEL 10 spreadshhets. Has worked fine for years on MSSQL2005 with Windows Server 2003. Moved database to MSSQL2008 on Windows Server 2012R2 and stored procs fail. The database works fine if I run queries in Management Studio 2008. If I open the Crystal Report, insert parameters and run, I get error message.
