• SQL SERVER installation and configuration Authentication modes like collation, data directories.
• System Databases like master, model, msdb, resource, tempdb.
• SQL Server Authentication Modes: Window authentication, SQL Authentication.
• Database creation: Recovery Model, different database options, Database Stripping, Database Files and File groups.
• Backup & Restore: Backup Types, Backup options (compression, format), Restore Options ( Replace, no recovery, move), Restoring Database
• Log shipping: Configuring, Monitoring, troubleshooting.
• Installation of SQL Server and configuring databases for Production and other Non-production environments.
• Experience in Installation of SQL Server over Windows Cluster.
• Configuration and monitoring of Log Shipping and Database Mirroring, SQL Clustring & Replication.
• Check OS Event Logs and SQL Server Logs for unusual events.
• Monitor disk space to ensure your SQL Servers won’t run out of disk space.
• Ability to create jobs and schedule them to perform all big tasks at the server.
• Monitoring Servers using performance monitor, activity monitor, Audit logs.
