I am reaching out to explore the possibility of your expertise in the analysis of EEG data for a recent study we conducted.
Briefly, our study involved a double-blind placebo-controlled trial with 22 participants, testing the effects of a magnetic brain stimulation device. Each participant experienced two sessions: one placebo (without any brain stimulation) and one with genuine magnetic brain stimulation.
We are interested in ANYTHING you can tell us about the data. We’ve done some basic analysis and think there are some positive effects taking place.
Our primary objective is to discern the positive effects of the device (example being changes in alpha, theta, delta, gamma, etc or hemispheric synchronization, etc) that were notably enhanced by our device.
To achieve a comprehensive analysis, we require:
-Normalization of the collected data.
-Creation of visualizations, such as graphs and charts, to effectively represent the data.
-Statistical analysis to validate the effects of the magnetic brain stimulation.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in conducting descriptive statistical analysis
- Familiarity with EEG biomedical data
- Knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS, R, or Stata or other statistical methods
It would be great if you could supply materials to our study from the data. You could choose how and what to provide that would be of value. We would love to see Graphs, Charts, Visualizations, and Statistics that you could provide to the EEG experiment, basically anything that is rigorous and scientifically sound that brings more context to what the brain stimulation device is doing.
We believe that a detailed and methodical analysis will bring immense value to our research.
For your reference, I have attached the EEG readings from both the placebo and the real sessions. Feel free to take a look at them and let me know if this is something we could have you work on.
