Georgia Licensed Structural Engineer Needed -- 2

I need a Georgia-resident structural engineer who already holds an active PE license in the state. You will drop into our on-going projects as the outside engineer of record, giving my in-house production team an extra set of expert eyes and, when the time comes, your professional stamp. During schematic and design development we will lean on you for design consultation and structural analysis that keeps us aligned with current Georgia codes. Once we reach the 90 % submittal milestone, I will hand the full drawing set over for your formal QAQC pass, final compliance check, and signature. Here is what I will look for from you: • Document review that flags load-path issues, detailing conflicts, or code gaps • Compliance verification against the latest Georgia Building Code and any adopted local amendments • Occasional site inspections (scheduled in advance) to confirm construction matches the stamped set • Coordination calls or e-mails with the city planning department and the county permit office whenever their reviewers request clarifications Most collaboration will be remote, but you should be able to drive to project sites or municipal offices inside Georgia when a physical presence is the most efficient path to approval. This engagement is hourly; we will log time for design-phase input first, then for the concentrated permitting push and any construction-phase visits that follow.
