I have a 3-D diagram and the components list of an industrial steel building and I need it translated into a fully functional STAAD Pro model (.std). The geometry in the diagram must be reproduced exactly, with the correct member connectivity so the file is ready for analysis the moment I open it. The structure is a building, not a bridge or tower, and it will serve an industrial purpose, so please choose member sections, releases and boundary conditions that suit typical plant-type loading. If you spot any information missing from the diagram—such as precise bracing locations or support details—flag it and I will supply the data right away. Deliverables • A clean, error-free STAAD Pro file that mirrors the provided 3-D layout and the components list. • A short note summarising assumptions (member sizes, supports, load combinations, etc.) so I can review them quickly Acceptance Criteria • No warnings in the STAAD input verification • Global coordinates, member lengths and connectivity match the diagram within engineering tolerance • Model opens without modification and is ready to run analysis If you work quickly with STAAD and have modelled steel industrial buildings before, this should be straightforward.
