A 20-metre steel billboard BOQ is really a take-off accuracy problem — every column, cross-beam, bracket and gusset needs to land on the right section size and weight or the tonnage summary throws off the whole pricing exercise. Once you send the elevation and plan views I'll build a full member-by-member take-off covering the base frame through to the secondary members tying the face panels in, with section sizes, lengths, quantities and total weight, plus welding, bolting and hardware allowances rolled into a consolidated tonnage summary. I've put together structural steel BOQs before where getting wastage factors and length rounding right mattered for fabrication pricing, so that part of this is straightforward. I'll work from the 2D views directly rather than a 3D model unless you'd prefer otherwise, and I'll note the design code and load assumptions I apply so it's easy to sign off.
