you are a ceph expert? you are working on ceph for at least 3 years on a production environment? you have setup at least 10 different ceph clusters in the past time? you are able to show me a self created ceph cluster which is on production? you are able to explain how you decided for the hardware? you are able to explain the issues which ceph would create? you are able to explain the ceph architecture on hardware and on software level? you have already worked with many different storage systems beside of ceph? GREAT! You seem to be the right man for this job. Your tasks: - create together with us a clear hardware architecture - create together with us a clear network architecture - create together with us the ceph storage architecture - setup the ceph cluster accorindingly to our architectures - discuss with us (you are the knowledge owner of ceph) the storage benefits and drawbacks of each discussed architecture - compare the architectural solution with standard SAN storages Your team aboard: - experts with tons of experiences in the given areas Requirements to your skills: - tons of experiences with the given ceph area - you already designed, implemented and supported ceph in real production environments - you can show us some live setups via Desktop-Sharing (e.g. Teamviewer or similar) Who is not fitting? - you are a starter in the area of ceph and/or storages and you have only a few years of experiences Our project Budget we pay to you? we do not disclose this.
