We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Desktop Support Administrator with 2-5 years of hands-on experience working with Windows technologies, such as Servers and Office 365. The successful candidate will provide technical support and assistance to our growing organization, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role will be performed remotely, working from home in the Central Standard Time (CST) time zone.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
Administer and maintain Windows servers and Office 365 applications, ensuring optimal performance and system availability
Monitor and respond to help desk requests in a timely and professional manner
Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other peripherals
Assist with the deployment and management of new hardware and software solutions
Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems to ensure security and stability
Maintain documentation on IT processes, procedures, and knowledge base articles
Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement improvements in IT services
Provide training and support to end-users to improve their technical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience working in desktop support, preferably with a focus on Windows technologies
Proficient in Windows Server administration and Office 365 applications
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to work remotely from home in the CST time zone
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, MCSA, MCSE) are a plus
