Tableau to Amazon QuickSight Migration Specialist

I am looking for an experienced Tableau and Amazon QuickSight specialist to support me in migrating Tableau dashboards to QuickSight. This is a high-priority project focused on enhancing performance, optimizing costs, and maintaining the integrity of critical business intelligence dashboards. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in analyzing existing Tableau dashboards, including visualizations, calculated fields, and data sources. • Recreate and optimize dashboards in QuickSight while ensuring data accuracy and maintaining similar functionality. • Provide solutions for differences in functionality between Tableau and QuickSight, such as handling dual-axis charts and blending data. • Optimize data sources (e.g., AWS Redshift, SPICE) for improved performance in QuickSight. • Validate metrics and visualizations to ensure consistency between Tableau and QuickSight dashboards. • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide creative solutions in a timely manner. Requirements: • Proven experience in both Tableau and Amazon QuickSight. • Expertise in data visualization and dashboard development. • Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex queries, joins, and data transformation. • Familiarity with AWS data services, including Redshift, S3, and SPICE. • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear documentation. • Availability to respond quickly and provide support as needed (stand-by role). Preferred Skills: • Experience with migrating BI tools or dashboards. • Knowledge of row-level security (RLS) and advanced filtering techniques. • Strong understanding of business intelligence workflows and stakeholder requirements. Timeline: The project is already underway, and I need someone who can join immediately to provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed. The support needed for this project is expected to last for 3-6 months.
