Overnight Junior IT Support

Gravity Media Australia is facilitating on overnight broadcast from July 21st through to August 3rd at our Artarmon ( Sydney ) facility. My office runs a late-night shift and I need someone onsite midnight to 0800am to keep the basic hardware running smoothly. The main focus is real-time troubleshooting whenever a printer refuses to cooperate or a desktop / laptop suddenly decides not to boot. At the moment I am not even sure whether the faults are isolated or spreading, so a systematic eye that can quickly narrow down root causes is essential. Here is how I see the engagement working: • Availability: On-site at our Artarmon ( Sydney ) office for an overnight window; exact hours are midnight through to 0800 from July 21st to August 3rd • Core tasks: diagnose printer jams, driver errors, connection hiccups, blue screens, boot failures, and similar frontline issues, then apply a fix or a reliable workaround that lets the team keep working. • Reporting: keep a concise log of each incident—symptoms, steps taken, and outcome—so I have clear visibility the next morning and can spot any recurring patterns. • Escalation: if a problem turns out to be beyond quick repair (hardware replacement needed, deep network change, etc.) hand it off with a clear status note so we can schedule daytime servicing. A junior-level technician who is comfortable with standard Windows tools, basic printer utilities, and remote desktop software should be more than enough here; I am not expecting you to overhaul our infrastructure, just keep the wheels turning until morning.
