GIS 2D/3D Mapping Training

I’m planning a full-scale GIS upskilling programme for a cohort of 40 colleagues and need a seasoned trainer who can guide them through both 2D and 3D mapping workflows from the ground up. The end-goal is practical, job-ready skill enhancement rather than formal certification, so every concept must translate directly to day-to-day project work. Scope • Design and deliver a curriculum that balances fundamentals with advanced techniques, moving from basic layer creation through to interactive 3D scene building. • Work with whichever stack you feel is most effective—ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, CityEngine, or complementary tools like PostGIS and Blender—so long as trainees leave able to choose and justify the right tool for a task. • Blend lecture-style explanations with hands-on exercises using real-world datasets I will supply (municipal infrastructure and environmental layers). • Structure the timetable so the entire group can participate live, whether on-site or via a virtual classroom platform you provide. Key deliverables 1. Detailed training schedule and slide deck before kick-off 2. Step-by-step lab manuals and sample datasets for each module 3.
