18 original interviews in mp3 format (one file per interview) need to be transcribed and entered into Microsoft Word.
One mp3 interview per one transcribed Word document.
Interviews vary in length from 15 minutes to 59minutes.
Interviews are conducted in English and need to be transcribed into English as is.
Transcriber must agree to terms and conditions of a confidentiality agreement.
Quick turn-around time required.
Interviews feature persons from a variety of different ethnic backgrounds and contain Australian, New Zealand, Fijian, Indian and Canadian accents. Interviews have been conducted in a variety of settings and may feature some background noise (eg. trucks driving past, cafe noises, music). Interviews feature topics and issues relating to community development projects, governance, human rights and social justice, including issues pertaining to HIV/AIDS, gender, race, sexual identity, religion, democracy and domestic violence. Transcriber must have excellent track record, exceptional professional integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
