I have a short text in English ( I am attaching it here) which should be proofreaded. It is the preface to the works of a painter. Please note that in some points it doesn't make sense, it is not very clear, the proofreader should just check if grammar is ok and eliminate errors. ONLY NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS, please.
