I'm in need of a professional, certified interpreter/translator for Norwegian / Sami to English / Hindi. This role involves virtually interpreting statements from victim & witnesses to/from court during court proceedings in Jaipur, India, through video conferencing. Key Responsibilities: - Consecutive interpretation of legal arguments - Ensuring accurate translation of Norwegian/Sami to Hindi, and English when necessary - Providing simultaneous interpretation during court proceedings as needed. Ideal Candidate: - Certified translator and interpreter - Proficient in Norwegian, Sami & Hindi or English - Experienced in consecutive interpretation during legal proceedings - Able to maintain confidentiality and impartiality - Skilled in managing high-pressure situations within a courtroom setting Please note, this is a crucial role requiring utmost professionalism and expertise. Any certified interpreter proficient in the required languages is acceptable. Each interpreting session is expected to last between 1 to 3 hours.
