I need an organised, resourceful assistant based in Vietnam who can split time between remote work and brief in-person meet-ups when needed. Your main responsibility will be research and data gathering, with a clear focus on market research that helps me understand local demand, pricing ranges, purchasing behaviour, and emerging trends across several consumer sectors. Most of the work can be done online—searching Vietnamese-language sources, calling suppliers, checking government or trade databases, and compiling findings into concise English summaries. When a task requires it, you may visit a store, trade fair, or government office in Ho Chi Minh City (or nearby) to verify information or pick up printed material; I will, of course, cover any approved travel costs. To keep everything efficient, we will agree on the exact questions at the start of each assignment block, then you will: • Collect raw data (links, documents, photos, interview notes). • Analyse and translate key insights into English. • Deliver a short report with charts or tables that highlight opportunities, risks, and next steps. I rely on quick turnarounds, so please be comfortable with tight 24–48-hour cycles for smaller requests and weekly checkpoints for deeper dives. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Excel, and a good command of both Vietnamese and English are essential.
