Looking for a skilled, native French translator to translate a fiction romance book (paranormal romance) from English to French.
The translation needs to be 100% correct French (regarding spelling, grammar, etc) and read like an original French language story. Instead of a word-for-word translation I’m rather looking for someone who can capture the feeling of the story correctly in French, while still staying close to the original text (no “lost in translation” sentences or events). For this, perfect understanding of conversational English, is a prerequisite.
The book is about 40,000 words long. I offer USD 0.0125 per word, so USD 500 for a 40,000 words book.
This may be a long-term cooperation.
