We provide comprehensive after-sales service, maintenance, and support for Konica Minolta's AccurioPress series and bizhub production machines across multiple locations in India. Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Konica Minolta Production Machine Service Technician to provide on-site field service, maintenance, and repair support for production print systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and ensuring minimal downtime for our enterprise clients operating high-volume printing environments. Primary Responsibilities Field Service & Maintenance Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Konica Minolta production machines (AccurioPress C3080, C6085, C7090, C7100, bizhub PRESS series, etc.) Install, configure, and calibrate production print systems at customer locations Conduct routine inspections including toner levels, drum units, fuser assemblies, rollers, and electrical connections Perform monthly calibration and alignment checks to ensure accurate color registration and print quality Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnose and resolve printing malfunctions including color shift, print quality issues, paper jams, and electrical faults Troubleshoot scanning, copying, and networking issues at the machine level Replace worn or damaged components (fuser units, pickup rollers, toner cartridges, belts, bearings, feed components) Perform deep technical diagnostics using Konica Minolta diagnostic software and service tools Create detailed service reports and diagnostic documentation for customers and internal records Customer Service & Support Respond to service calls within agreed SLA timeframes (typically 2-4 hours for priority customers) Provide technical training to customer staff on machine operation and basic troubleshooting Maintain professional relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction across assigned territory Document issues, parts replacement, and recommendations in CRM/field service software Communicate real-time status updates to customers and internal support teams Inventory & Parts Management Maintain and organize inventory of spare parts, consumables, and service tools Monitor parts usage and communicate reorder requirements to management Ensure proper storage of high-value components (toner units, fuser assemblies, drums) Field Operations Travel independently across assigned territory (metro/tier-II cities) Carry and maintain company-issued equipment (laptop, diagnostic tools, spare parts kit) Maintain accurate daily time-tracking and mileage logs Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness during service visits Coordinate with regional offices for escalated technical issues and spare parts availability Required Qualifications & Experience Mandatory Requirements Minimum 6 months of hands-on field service experience with copiers, MFPs, or production print machines in India Vocational/Technical Diploma or certification in Electronics, Mechanical Systems, or equivalent technical training Proven experience troubleshooting laser printing technology (xerography, toner systems, fuser units) Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in printing equipment Valid driver's license with clean driving record (reliable transportation required) Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with Konica Minolta equipment (bizhub, AccurioPress series) CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification or equivalent technical certification Experience with Konica Minolta Outward Certification Program Service experience with Canon, Xerox, or similar OEM production machines Familiarity with vCare fleet management software or comparable diagnostic tools
