The Struggle - Open world FPS MMO with simplified survival gameplay
This game will be a wide open world similar to dayz but with a warz twist. Combining the two natures of the core game mechanics while also delivering a new experince to the genre.
What we need:
A platform/foundation of the core game from where we can edit and add onto in the future.
Database for the all game data
Backend data collecting
Launcher for the game
Core Features:
Day and night cycles with seasonal patterns
Realistic high-level environment (HDRP)
Loot and stash items in player global inventory with risk to bring out from stash as well
Skill tree progression instead of traditional levels
Reputation system for character alignment (red names for potential bandits, blue names for helpers)
Zombies as a significant threat and potential loot source
Character customization with up to 3 playable characters
Auction house unlocked after reaching certain playtime
No base building or stashes on the map
Safe zones with a half-hour cooldown for stashing
Located loot on maps, requiring players to search for specific items
Loot cycles adjusted to keep the game fresh and dynamic
