1) a parser which will parse ALL different messages received by a device via rs232 serial port and export them somewhere(for example CSV file)
2) a sender which will create orders to the machine.
Please make some research online how ASTM works.. very very short description:
a user creates orders via the "sender".
machine receives the order and "do the job"(do the job means for example if the machine received an order to do a blood test then it will do the blood test)
user sends a request to read the results to the machine with the "sender"
machine broadcasts the results.
parser receives the results and parse them.
MONEY WILL ONLY BE RELEASED ONCE YOU PROVIDE A WORKING DEMO.
Please do not ask for milestones etc unless you have a READY WORKING demo.

What is ASTM?
The ASTM (E1381, E1394 etc) protocol is widely used in laboratory equipment. It allows you to automatically collect measurement data and other relevant data (date, first name, and last name, the highest and the lowest values, measurement number, etc.).
Such equipment usually supports multiple data interchange protocols(for our case ASTM)
