vb.net winform application update function - sample code provided

Simple application update function so that the user can click a button which opens update form.
1. The form has a check for update button
2. Current version
3. available update
4. Close form button
The check for update button should open a new form showing the current version and an available update, if available. If no update is available then the form will show the field (textbox) no update is available.

The process is as follows:
1. Check for an active Internet connection.
2. Check whether there are updates available for this application. (azure storage or file location on a server)
3. Download the files to their respective locations.
4. Start the updated application installer.
