Will Tally be the master for accounting data, or can ERP update existing vouchers? Do you already have ledger/item mapping rules, or should the bridge manage those? How many companies need to be synchronized in Tally? I went through your description carefully. Hi, this is Ambar Shome, I work independently but also run Shome & Associates for larger projects. This is actually two projects in one. First, moving data safely between SQL Server and Tally. Second, keeping both systems synchronized when records change later. I've worked on SQL Server integrations and accounting workflows before, so the important part for me is not creating vouchers. The important part is making sure the same voucher does not get created twice six months later when somebody reruns a sync. ✔ ERP → Tally Sales, purchases, credit notes, debit notes, ledgers, items, customer/vendor records. ✔ Tally → ERP Receipts, payments, journals, ledger changes and voucher updates. I would keep a separate sync database between ERP and Tally. Simple reason. Failed records stay visible. They can be retried. Nothing disappears. A few things I'd build from day one: * Voucher reference tracking * Duplicate prevention * Retry queue for failed syncs * XML request/response logs * Background Windows Service * Manual sync screen * Mapping tables for ledgers and stock items * Incremental imports instead of reading everything every time
