A PDF can mean two different things: an embedded raster image or paths that just need cleaning up, something I run into a lot with logo and illustration work. Which one is it, and roughly how many colors or separate shapes does the design have? That affects how clean the outline comes out for die-cut stickers. Send the file and I'll tell you if it's a straight trace or needs redrawing.
