Hi There Creating new independent Beanstalk env for each and every developer or feature branch will significantly increase your AWS cost and also deployment to beanstalk generally takes a while (you can relate this with the time it takes while compiling a huge Java project) which eventually kills productivity if your developers happen to be deploying too frequently. Instead, I'd recommend to go with Docker and create new env for every user using AWS ECS that will help to lower the cost but also takes less time to deploy. You can hide the credentials by using the AWS parameter store service instead of relying on Env vars. I can only provide you a time estimate after looking closely into your Application codebase. I can show you some real-life examples only via screen share as this involves sharing architectures inside other AWS Accounts. For documentation, I can have it spread across Cloudformation (for all your AWS infrastructure) and a separate README file.
