WE ARE HIRING – FEMALE VIDEO CONTENT CREATOR, VIDEO EDITOR & CONTENT WRITER Location: Kolkata, West Bengal We are looking for an experienced, creative, and confident Female Video Content Creator / Video Editor / Content Writer to join our team for a growing YouTube content project. This is a multi-skilled role for someone who can independently manage the complete content-production process, from topic research and content writing to video shooting, on-camera presentation, video editing, and final delivery. POSITION Female Video Content Creator | Video Editor | Content Writer LOCATION Kolkata, West Bengal ROLE OVERVIEW The selected candidate will be an important part of our YouTube content-production team and will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and professionally produced video content. The candidate should be comfortable handling multiple aspects of production, including research, script writing, video recording, on-camera presentation, editing, and content development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Video Shooting and Recording - Plan and conduct video shoots for YouTube content. - Appear confidently and professionally in front of the camera. - Handle basic camera, lighting, microphone, and recording equipment. - Ensure proper framing, lighting, audio quality, and overall presentation. - Manage the complete shooting process. - Suggest creative ideas to improve video quality and presentation. 2. Video Editing - Professionally edit YouTube videos and short-form content. - Create engaging YouTube Shorts, Reels, and long-form videos. - Add captions, subtitles, transitions, graphics, images, music, sound effects, and other visual elements as required. - Maintain appropriate pacing and storytelling to maximize viewer engagement. - Create or assist with thumbnails and other basic graphic requirements. - Deliver polished, high-quality, publication-ready videos. 3. Content Writing and Script Development - Research topics and gather relevant and reliable information. - Write engaging and well-structured scripts for YouTube videos. - Convert research material into clear, informative, and audience-friendly content. - Develop strong introductions, hooks, storytelling elements, and video structures. - Write video titles, descriptions, captions, and supporting content. - Generate new content ideas based on current trends and audience interests. 4. Content Research and Development - Conduct research on relevant and trending topics. - Participate in content brainstorming and planning. - Suggest new and innovative video concepts. - Understand YouTube audience behaviour and content trends. - Develop ideas to improve viewer engagement and retention. - Help establish a consistent content style and brand identity. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate should have: - Previous experience in YouTube video production or digital content creation. - Strong video editing skills. - Practical experience with video shooting and recording. - Good content writing and script-writing abilities. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Confidence in front of the camera. - Good understanding of lighting, framing, audio, and basic video production. - Understanding of YouTube Shorts, Reels, and long-form videos. - Strong creativity and storytelling ability. - Ability to work independently and manage deadlines. - Basic understanding of YouTube trends, thumbnails, SEO, and audience retention. PREFERRED SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE Experience with any of the following software will be an advantage: - Adobe Premiere Pro - Final Cut Pro - DaVinci Resolve - Adobe After Effects - CapCut - Canva - Adobe Photoshop Candidates experienced with other professional video-editing and content-creation software are also welcome to apply. The ideal candidate should be capable of taking an idea and managing the workflow from: Topic Research → Content Development → Script Writing → Video Shooting → On-Camera Presentation → Video Editing → Graphics/Captions → Final Production The candidate should be creative, responsible, detail-oriented, confident, and genuinely interested in YouTube, digital media, video production, storytelling, and content creation. EXPERIENCE Relevant professional experience in video editing, video production, YouTube content creation, or digital media is preferred.
