We would like to have a precisely 30 seconds long promotional video, max size of 500MB, with eye catching animation and motion graphics. The final product will need to be exported into formats suitable for both the iOS App Store and the Google Play store (phone and tablet).
App Store Specifications
We would like to have two resolutions to be used for the iOS App Store: 1600x1200 (tablet) and 1920x1080 (smartphone). Each should be 30 frames per second and should fill the entire frame (no black edges!).
We will need exactly the same resolutions for Google Play (1600x1200 and 1920x1080)
MP4, encoded using the H.264 codec, at 15-20Mbps for 1080p HD.
The video will also need to be localized into 16 languages. This means two different resolution videos put into 16 different languages for each store.
Further we would like to have the original video editing file in case we need to quickly make changes or updates (Adobe After Effects).
Reference Video: Fun Run 3
Here is an example video that has similar game concepts to give you an idea of what we are looking for: [login to view URL]
In particular, I like where the character looks like it is fluently moving back and forth staying constant, but the themes are changing. Also in the middle having something that makes the character morphing between a few of the different characters. Our game also uses coins so incorporating a reference to those coins somewhere would be excellent. They’ve done a good job of subtly doing this in their video..
Here’s an introduction and overview of the game and what we expect in the promo video.
My Number Drop:

My Number Drop is an apple catcher game designed to help kids learn various math concepts from 1st to 4th grade. The game has 12 themed levels in total, covering 5 different math concepts. To give an extra touch of fun, kids can choose from 24 animal characters to play with.
Overall we would like to highlight the following:
· 24 characters
· Our various themes
· The math concepts covered
o Even/Odd Numbers-
o Negative Numbers
o Greater than/ Less than
o Prime Numbers
I see our timeline looking something like (Text in parentheses):
0:00 - 4:00 Intro -We will supply this clip
4:00 - 6:00 Showing levels (“Kindergarten to 4th grade math”)
6:00 - 9:00 An enhanced looking version of our gameplay (“Play and Learn”)
9:00 - 14:00 Overview of characters- morphing between them in a creative way like in the “Fun Run 3” video would be excellent (“24 lovable characters”)
14:00 - 17:00 Even and Odd Numbers - 2 way Split screen (“Even and Odd Numbers”)
17:00 - 20:00 Greater than and Less than - 2 way Split screen (“Greater than/Less than”)
20:00 - 23:00 Multiples - Could be 3 way split screen (“Multiples of… 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10”)
23:00 - 26:00 Negatives and Prime Numbers - Split screen (“Negative Numbers / Prime Numbers”)
26:00 - 30:00 Closing- Make sure sound transitions smoothly out as well as video- Make sure video transitions well in a loop.
You are welcome to shorten the closing to be just 2 seconds if you would like to instead use the extra 2 seconds for fancy transitions or elsewhere you may need it.
To maximize on time, I suggest demonstrating the different themes and math concepts together using split screens. You will see an example in the instructions video, I have attached. The video can be used as a guide for the general framework. Please add vibrant transitions, appealing text/text effects and other animations when possible.
