Smartphone Videographer Wanted in Ho Chi Minh City – Shoot Street Scenes & Cultural Content (Long-term)

Overview: We are a growing travel media brand looking for a reliable, creative freelance videographer or content creator currently living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Your job will be simple but creative: you will use your smartphone (iPhone 13 or newer preferred, or high-end Android) to shoot high-quality, cinematic short video clips (B-roll) of Ho Chi Minh City's street life, landmarks, and culture. This is a long-term opportunity. If the first batch of videos goes well, we will order monthly packages from you. Key Responsibilities: Walk around famous spots in HCMC (e.g., Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Cafe Apartments, Pink Church, District 1/District 5) and capture the vibe. Shoot short, aesthetic clips (5–15 seconds per clip) of: City landscapes, heavy motorcycle traffic, and unique French-colonial architecture. Local street food, coffee culture, and bustling markets. Bonus/Optional: If you can find a local female friend to wear a traditional Ao Dai dress and walk through the frame (back views, candid walking shots), that is a huge plus! Technical Requirements: Equipment: A modern smartphone capable of shooting in 4K at 30fps or 60fps (with good image stabilization). Format: Strictly Vertical (9:16) format (optimized for TikTok/Shorts). Shot Types: Steady panning shots, slow-motion, and close-ups. No shaky footage. Delivery: Raw, unedited files uploaded to Google Drive. No background music or filters needed. What We are Looking For: Must be currently residing in Ho Chi Minh City. Great eye for aesthetics, framing, and lighting (golden hour shooting preferred). Reliable, good communication, and can meet deadlines. Budget & Payment: This first project is a test batch. Deliverables for the test: 30 high-quality raw video clips (5-15 seconds each, covering 3-4 different locations/themes). Budget for the test: $20 - $50 USD If the quality is excellent, we will move to a monthly retainer model with a higher payout.
