Task: Please write a how-to article providing instructions on the way for customers to get the best results from your service. The article should be written for someone like me, who has no experience with outsourcing. Let's start with the customer's description of the task they want you to perform.
Please write the article in the following style: Begin with general advice, then give a specific example, then add an anecdote. The anecdote should describe a difficult task you or your coworkers have received that would have turned out better if your customer had given better instructions.
I am looking for tips and advice that would make the communication of the task clearer, help you understand what the client wants so that you can finish the task quickly, with the best results, and thus, ultimately save the client money.
Deliverables: One 800-1500 word article. The first 250 words should be able to stand alone as a blog entry.
Deadline: I am in a hurry to get started on this project. Please begin work now if possible and send me your results--complete or incomplete--after 3 hours of work.
