Dear i'm student so i have this project can you do it please . (please look to main point ) Computer Systems Administration Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI) SMIT Castlebar are thinking of moving to a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure for the students and staff. The campus comprises approx 1,400 students, and 120 staff . Each staff member has their own PC, and there are 12 computer labs with 24 machines in each lab. Some labs are dedicated to specific tasks – i.e. CAD lab, Programming Lab, Multi-media lab, Database lab, Networks lab, Operating Systems lab, and general purpose – office labs. You are asked to investigate moving to VDI, the advantages and disadvantages of such a move, both from the point of view of the users and the computer administrators, and the costs and the security issues involved. Your answer should include – but not be limited to the following: main point: Overview of VDI VDI Technology Advantages and disadvantages Proposed SMIT scenario Administration issues Security issues.
