Description of Work: “Sequential File Downloader”
Implement a simple application which uses an input file list of hyperlinks embedded in a Word “List Document” (short example attached) to download a number of files to a specified folder.
The user interface should look similar to the jpeg image attached. The Letters A through G are for reference purposes only.
I trust the jpeg is self-explanatory.
The user either types the local URL for the “List Document” into Box A or (if this is easy to implement) browses for it in the local drives by hitting Button B.
Likewise the user either types the local URL for the “Output Folder” into Box C or (if this is easy to implement) browses for it in the local drives by hitting Button D.
Button E starts the file transfer process
Button F pauses the file transfer process after the current file is finished transferring
Button G stops the file transfer process after the current file is finished transferring
Note 1. The List Document may be over 100 pages long with many hundreds of hyperlink entries.
Note 2. It is intended that, initially at least, only the hyperlinks “Click Here to Download” which lead to downloadable files such as .ZIP files (or .pdf or .doc files if there are any) will be processed – any other hyperlinks should be ignored (e.g. ignore .php files and links to other websites)
Note 3. It would be helpful if a Log was formed which noted the file names of the .zips (etc.) and the line of text associated with them immediately above the hyperlink
e.g. the following section of the List Document Example:

IF POSSIBLE I WOULD LIKE THE APPLICATION WRITTEN in VBA for Microsoft Word
I am quite familiar with VBA for Excel.
The User Interface could be adjusted to allow the use of VBA.
If the application is difficult to implement on VBA my next preference would be VB6 but of course it would have to be available as a .exe file so that I could give it to people who do not have VB6 on their computer.
