Extremely easy project in terms of skills required. Presently in the form of two Excel spreadsheets with clients names and addresses in many columns. The spreadsheet has two empty columns - "Zip Code" and "City". The only thing you are required to do is copy the Zip Code and City from the address and enter it in the two extra columns.
For example, if the address field has "215 Appleby Street, Milwaukee WI 94230" - all you have to do is enter 94230 in the zip code column and Milawukee in the city column.
There are just under 10,000 such rows, but each row shouldn't take much longer than 15 seconds, for someone with a reasonable typing speed - which basically means its a couple of hours work.
If someone is a good Excel VBA programmer, I'm sure theres a way to write an algorithm that takes care of almost the whole process. However note all addresses are not formatted the same, and some countries have different formats for zip codes.
Since there is not much skill involved with the project, lower bidders will get priority. I'd like to have this over and done with within the next couple of days. Great starting project for beginners and relatively painless project for experts!
