Macro to Summarise Data for Reporting in Excel

I receive daily lists of data in Excel format. Some of this data needs to be copied onto another spreadsheet so that reports can be run on it to summarise the data in various ways. I would like to automate the process of copying selected data from the daily spreadsheets that I receive into the summarised format. I envisage the following: 1) A 'front sheet' which allows me to browse for, and select an excel spreadsheet on my computer 2) Once the file has been selected, a button that will launch a macro 3) The macro will select various columns of information from the source spreadsheet and copy these to the first available row in corresponding columns on the target spreadsheet 4) The source spreadsheet will be closed 5) The target spreadsheet will be re-formatted so that it is in a uniform layout and lookups run on it so that the data can be filtered and totalled for reporting purposes. The target spreadsheet will then be sorted into date order. 6) The target spreadsheet will have a value column totalled. This total will need to be recalculated whenever the data is filtered by one of the columns. I attach a draft copy of the target spreadsheet that the source data needs to be copied onto.
