I have created an excel spreadsheet that almost does what I want. However, my issues are as follows... Every time I add a product or other variable, I have to re-configure everything it effected. It looks homemade and my customers see me use it on a big screen. It never quite works like it is suppose from one machine to the next. Sometime, someone saves or changes something they shouldn't and the entire program is unreliable and has to be reloaded. Maybe because it is hard to see where to put the information.
I want a neat little program similar to what I have created, but I need a professional to touch it, and turn it into a marketable product. Maybe using a different program, format, or adding a database. There are home improvement and similar programs, but nothing that does exactly what I need.
It basically has 7 or 8 sections that are editable - Vendors, Products, Applications, Substrate Material. square footage options, fixed cost options merged together so that I can give a customer an instant quote on any product or variable I put in.
I would like to market the program to recoup my cost, so a free trial setup might be nice.
We are a small mom and pop sign shop and do not have a lot of money, so I am really looking for some help.
I am attaching a copy of what I did in a couple of hours as a basis to work off of. I would be even cooler, if it could be done over the web. If it is affordable.
