We have an application written in VB6 and we need it converted into .NET.
The solution is made up of 2 projects: the first project is a fiscal device simulator. It is an application that operates like a fiscal device, prints a receipt via the connected printer and communicates via RS232 serial port with the second application.
The second project is the other application that communicates with the first a application via RS232. This application is a small slot game which is used for example to display how the fiscal device is working.
Both projects are written in VB6 and we need them manually converted into VB .NET. Automatic convert can also be done and then the corrections can be carried out manually.
We do not need someone just to correct the syntax errors but the application must be working fine. For this reason you need to have on your pc: 2 serial ports (RS232) and a cable RS232 loopback.
