Looking for a straight forward program to collect barcodes from an RS232/USB scanner.
The software is to record the barcode and each time it records the same barcode it records a time and date of the scan and switches from 'out' to 'in' to 'out' and so on. Each barcode will be associated a user, firstname, surname, company, email, and address.
Ideally we would like this software to be as simple to use as possible, initially we are thinking of this just to be run from one machine locally, but if it could have a central data source and multiple scanners that would be a benefit. Please send a cost for the standalone and networked.
The system will need to have a simple report facility that can be run showing a user/s movements, times dates of enter/leaving.
This system is to be run on standard Windows 7 desktops.
If you have any other questions please ask?
