We have an application written in VB6 which we are rewriting in VB.Net (VS2012).
In the old version we used the Component 1 Flexgrid extensively, and we are using the C1 Ultimate Flexgrid in the rewrite.
One feature we need to reproduce is totalling and collapsing the grid as in the first section of this video [url removed, login to view] .
In the new project, the grid is in place and is loading data, the two dropdown combos are in place, as is the ability to change the sort order of the first five columns, so we just need the code that goes on the Analysis button that totals and collapses the grid.
We are using the new Flexgird, not the classic but we are also not using it bound to the database which should make it much more simple. Here is a link to the C1 documentation for the Flexgrid [url removed, login to view]
This is a small part of an ongoing project and the successful freelancer will have the opportunity to work on other parts of the project over the next year.
Hi, I am experienced working with VB6 and ComponentOne activeX control, like VsFlexGrid, TrueDBList, TrueDBGrid... Please check my private message.
