Cross Platform CRM Interaction Apps

I’m putting together a new suite of apps—one web-based, one native for Windows—that will focus entirely on customer interaction management. At the heart of both versions will be three core features my team relies on every day: real-time live chat, smooth email integration, and detailed call logging. The goal is to give users a consistent, latency-free experience whether they open the browser on the road or fire up the desktop client in the office. I already run an in-house CRM, so you will be working with an existing database schema and authentication flow; however, the interaction module you build will be green-field. A single shared backend (REST or GraphQL is fine) should power both the web app—ideally React or Vue—and the Windows desktop client, which can be Electron, .NET MAUI, or another framework that lets us reuse as much UI logic as possible. Deliverables 1. Responsive web application connected to the current CRM database 2. Windows desktop application packaged with auto-update capability 3. Common API gateway with real-time websocket support for live chat 4. Setup scripts, unit tests, and short video walkthroughs for deployment and usage Acceptance criteria • Live chat must display new messages across both platforms in under 2 seconds • Email integration should send and fetch via IMAP/SMTP with OAuth2 support • Call logging needs to record duration, notes, and a call outcome flag, syncing instantly to the CRM Optional future phases include ports to macOS/Linux, but for now I’m focused on shipping a polished web app and a rock-solid Windows build that users can install without admin rights.
