When Smoobu migrated to their new system all of my property pages suddenly stopped showing the correct images. The files are still in the media library but the live site either points to empty placeholders or stretches the photos beyond recognition. Text and booking functions are fine—it is only the images and other visual media that are displaying incorrectly. I need someone familiar with Smoobu’s new website builder (or comfortable digging into the HTML / CSS / JS that sits behind it) to: • trace why the image paths or styling broke during the migration, • restore every photo and gallery so they load at the intended size and ratio on desktop and mobile, • verify that the fixes hold across all public pages after a cache clear, and • show me the steps or settings you changed so I can replicate them if Smoobu updates again. Please work directly in the Smoobu back-end; I will provide admin access as soon as we agree to start. A short Loom or screenshot walkthrough at the end will serve as acceptance that the repair is complete.

Hi there, I understand you're experiencing issues with image display on your Smoobu property pages after a system migration, where images are either not showing or are stretched beyond recognition. We've worked on similar projects involving website repairs and CMS issues, such as fixing a learning platform website for children built with PHP and WordPress, and redesigning a WordPress site with Elementor. Our team is comfortable with digging into HTML, CSS, and JS to resolve such issues. We will trace the broken image paths, restore the photos and galleries to their intended size and ratio, and verify the fixes across all public pages. Can you tell me more about the specific error messages or symptoms you're seeing when the images fail to load? Feel free to message us to discuss the details! — Webbook Studio

Hey, I will fix all broken image paths and styling across your Smoobu property pages — restoring correct display, aspect ratios, and gallery functionality on both desktop and mobile. My first step will be inspecting the image source URLs in the page markup to determine whether Smoobu's migration changed the file path structure or broke inline styling attributes. This pinpoints the root cause before touching anything. Questions: 1) Are the broken images consistent across all properties, or only specific listings? 2) How many property pages need repair? Send me a message and we can go over the details. Best regards, Kamran

Hi I can fix the broken Smoobu property images and galleries after the migration so they display correctly across desktop and mobile. My experience includes Smoobu website builder troubleshooting, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive media styling, image path debugging, cache issues, and CMS-based gallery repairs. The main technical problem is likely that the migration changed image references, gallery bindings, CDN paths, or CSS sizing rules, causing placeholders or distorted aspect ratios. I would solve this by tracing the affected media sources, checking the generated page markup, correcting image mappings, and adjusting responsive styling where needed. I will review all public property pages, restore photos and galleries to the intended size and ratio, and test after clearing cache. I can also check for lazy-loading, broken media URLs, stretched container rules, and mobile-specific layout conflicts. You will receive a short walkthrough with screenshots or Loom-style notes showing what was changed and how to repeat the fix if Smoobu updates again. Thanks, Hercules

My team and I have experience with website migrations and debugging HTML, CSS, and JS issues, having worked on similar projects such as a learning platform website and a website for an electric bike company, where we ensured proper image display and responsiveness. Your Smoobu migration broke image rendering because the new builder changed how it references media library assets - either the file paths are hardcoded to the old CDN structure or the CSS grid is applying incorrect aspect ratios. I've debugged similar platform migrations where lazy-loading attributes or srcset rules get stripped during export. Quick question - are the broken images showing 404 errors in the browser console, or are they loading but displaying at wrong dimensions? Also, does Smoobu's new builder use a drag-drop interface or does it expose the underlying HTML/CSS directly? Here's how I'll fix this: - BROWSER DEVTOOLS AUDIT: Inspect network tab to see if images return 404s (broken paths) or 200s (CSS/layout issue), then trace whether Smoobu changed from relative to absolute URLs. - MEDIA LIBRARY RECONCILIATION: Cross-reference every image slug in your library against what's rendered on live pages, then bulk-update src attributes or relink assets through Smoobu's interface. - CSS RESPONSIVE FIX: Override any inline styles forcing fixed widths - implement max-width: 100% and object-fit: cover to preserve aspect ratios on mobile/desktop without stretching. - CACHE VALIDATION: Test across incognito + mobile emulator after purging Smoobu's CDN cache to confirm images persist through their caching layer. I've repaired image pipelines for 4 property management platforms after CMS migrations - the issue is always either rewrite rules or container constraints. Let's jump on a 10-minute screenshare so I can see your Smoobu dashboard and confirm the root cause before I start touching code.

Hi I can help fix the broken property images after the Smoobu migration and restore the galleries so they display correctly across desktop and mobile. I have experience troubleshooting website builder migrations, media path issues, image rendering problems, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, cache conflicts, responsive image sizing, and gallery layout bugs. For your Smoobu site, I would first inspect the affected property pages, compare the live image URLs against the media library, and identify whether the issue is caused by broken paths, migrated placeholders, CSS object-fit rules, lazy loading, gallery scripts, or cached assets. Once the cause is confirmed, I can repair the image references or styling, restore correct aspect ratios, test each public page, clear cache where needed, and verify that photos load properly on common desktop and mobile screen sizes. I will work directly inside the Smoobu backend, keep changes controlled, and provide a short written or screenshot walkthrough showing what was changed so you can repeat the fix if a future Smoobu update causes the same issue again. Best, Justin
