Rapidly growing, outsourced web design and development company (BestCommerceTools) is seeking a FULL-TIME NORTH-AMERICAN BASED GENERAL MANAGER / SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE / PROJECT MANAGER to handle all aspects of website sales and project management. We are looking for a senior individual with strong marketing, technical sales and project management experience to take over the CEO role of the company. Training will be provided but compensation during the 60 day training period will be mostly equity (negotiable subject to performance) that will be converted to cash after six months according to an already arranged buyout offer. We encourage half-time applicants during the training period as we understand you have to pay the rent.
The successful applicant will have many of of the following skills:
-Based in North America, and available during US business hours to take phone calls. OFFSHORE APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT APPLY, I am sorry but you need to work on the phone and understand US culture.
-Experience in technical sales, and especially for website design and development, in writing bids and software requirements analyses.
-Marketing experience, such as conducting postcard marketing / direct mail / press release campaigns etc.
-Previous project management experience of outsourced website development projects.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Internet marketing experience (SEO, newsletters / auto-responders etc) also an asset.
The company currently consists of a US-based CEO, a US full-time project manager, 15 overseas employees, and 1 half-time US partner. The company is growing rapidly and is expected to triple revenue in the next 2 months. You would work directly under the current CEO during the training period and then you would take over the sales and project management functions from January 1st at full salary.
This is a position for a hard-working, ambitious, super-smart, disciplined, and people-friendly person, with proven management skills and sales & marketing experience. You would work from your home as part of a global distributed team. You would get equity in the new company in addition to salary. The opportunity to grow the company into a major nationwide service provider is very real and you would receive commensurate compensation if this were successful.
