501649 Contract Writing Website

General:

• Site is intended for two people to answer questions which will be used to construct a printable contract.

• For constant security updates and in order to not have to build standard website functions (such as password recovery, captcha, etc), site will be built as a module for a major (and free) CMS platform such as Joomla or Drupal. Although the site we wish to begin with is not very complex, we would like to retain the ability to add modules at later dates, etc.

• Many existing Modules come close to what we are looking for, so the modification of an existing script may be a relatively easy way to accomplish what we need. We are not opposed to this.

Home Page

• Home page is a splash page with standard top and bottom navigation and a prominent, central login area. Very simple and reminiscent of popular dating and social network sites (see Mockup page 1).

o Admin: Full user control.

Step A

• To begin, each party will complete basic information (name, address, etc…see Mockup page 2).

• Users will select from a list of “Types of Contracts” that will lead to specific categories of questions.

o Admin: ability to create new contract types and associate categories (and associated question sets) with the contract type.

• Users may return to this screen at any time and select a different type of contract to pursue. Each contract will retain the users' answers indefinitely for later review or alteration.

Step B

• Once a contract type is selected, users are taken to a “Cloud” or directory of categories specific to the contract selected (see Mockup page 3).

o Admin: ability to create new categories and associate new or existing questions with each category.

Step C

• When a category is selected, users are taken to a page where each of them will select from questions.

• User A will go first (see Mockup page 4a), then click a button when done. Same question set will appear for User B.

• User B will go next (see Mockup page 4b), then click a button when done. Users will be directed to a summary page (see Mockup page 5)

• ALL INFORMATION ENTERED WILL BE RETAINED FOR LATER COMPLETION OR ALTERATION.

o Admin: ability to select or deselect any user's answer.

Step D (see Mockup page 5)

• Each user's chosen questions will be displayed side-by-side.

• A text box will be presented for the users to enter additional contract information.

o Admin: ability to alter any user's text.

• Check boxes will allow the option to include question selections or text box information.

• ALL INFORMATION ENTERED WILL BE RETAINED FOR LATER COMPLETION OR ALTERATION.

• A button will be provided to return to the category cloud.

Step C (repeat)

• Category buttons will change color once any part of the question set has been completed.

Contract

• Users may preview contract at any point via a button on category cloud page or from navigation link…BUT ONLY AFTER SUBSCRIPTION IS PAID.

• If subscription is not paid and users attempt to preview contract, they will be taken to a payment gateway page.

Certificate

• System will track the percentage of completed questions in each category.

• Based upon completed categories, a printable, savable .pdf certificate will be generated.

• Certificate level (e.g. Silver, Gold, Platinum) will be determined by the number of 100% completed categories.

• Certificates will be populated with basic information such as client names.
