I have received 4 bids for website developement and hosting for an e-commerce greeting card website. I want to be able to go to the website shopping cart and pick all cards that are due to be printed on my printer on a particular date and be able to have the website tell my computer to print all of them automatically, then have the website tell my computer to print all of the envelopes in order of the cards so I can just put them together. All website developers have said the same thing. They would need my Greeting Card Maker 3 software by Greenstreet on their server and they are not willing to do that. My next move then would be to find someone who can write a program that makes my computer take the list of cards with personalized signatures from the website and make my computer/printer print them automatically instead of making me copy, insert signatures and print each card individually and the envelopes individually.
Someone who can develope such a interface program for me I would take estimates from. I can send three files the card maker software produces. One, is the file that the software can read, one is an exe file that opens the data on anyones email and the third is the HTML file the software produces to upload the cards to a webpage.
