This is an email invitation that will be sent to my entire email list, although the goal is to have local professionals actually be the attendees to the events. I've written the copy for the email, but I'm open to suggestions for changes! If you see something that is confusing or not well-stated, I'd be grateful for the input. Seriously, it's going to be hard to insult me. Unless you flat out insult me. I want this to look great and read well.
My intention for this is that it will be simple and clean, but eye-catching and interesting. If you look at our website [url removed, login to view] you can get a sense of our aesthetic. All of the pictures on the website are self-owned, so if you feel like we should use any of them, let me know. I can also potentially shoot some additional photos, if you feel like something would be helpful.
I want to be able to upload this to MailChimp.
I don't want to kill you with copy changes. I'm running the email text past all of my friends and colleagues to see what their thoughts are, so I may want to make some change based upon their input. It may be wisest to be sure to produce this in a format that will allow me to make last minute copy changes. If that's possible.
